What to know before your first appointment at DermEdge

You have an appointment with DermEdge and would like more information on what to expect and how to prepare.

• Contact our office to confirm your appointment, at least 1 week before your appointment

• Please arrive at your appointment 10 minutes before your appointment time to register and complete any intake forms

• Bring your valid OHIP card and a list of your medications and allergies

• If medically necessary, for example to translate or for other assistance, bring a family member of friend

• If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, then the doctor will reschedule you at their discretion

• If you need to rebook or cancel your appointment, please contact our office more than 2 clear business days before your appointment to avoid any rebooking penalty fees

• In order to be fair to others waiting behind you, there is only one issue per appointment.

• While the doctors typically run on schedule, with patient care there is always the chance that medical delays can arise. In order to help you budget your time, there may be a delay of 0-90 minutes from your stated appointment time.
