Dr. Anthony Mak, MD, PhD, FRCPC, DABD

Dr. Anthony Mak, MD, PhD, FRCPC, DABD, is a board-certified dermatologist in Canada and the United States.
He completed his medical and dermatology training at the University of Toronto and served as chief dermatology resident at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in his final year of residency. He practices as a medical dermatologist and has an interest in global dermatology.
Prior to his clinical training, he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto and was a visiting scholar at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Medical Centre. His research work has been widely published and presented internationally. He has received numerous awards and grants for his research on melanoma stem cells.
